Hippy Pilgrim Roasted Chicken

Roasting chicken with our garlic salt couldn't be easier! Simply rub oil on the skin, generously sprinkle your favorite garlic salt and cook in the oven or air fryer until juices run clear. Always allow your chicken to rest for 20 minutes to redistribute the juices which makes for a more tender and juicy chicken! My favorite salt to use on chicken is our Thanksgiving blend! Never throw away the body of the chicken after eating the meat. The bones make fabulous broth! Just submerge the body in water, add herbs and leftover veggies and simmer all day and night! I save end cuts from carrots, onions and celery in a bag in the freezer and when I make broth I toss them in. Season with our garlic salt and store leftovers in the freezer. New England cooks leave nothing to waste in the kitchen!
